The Blue Mountain Center, high in the Rocky Mountains, ten miles south of  Colorado Springs, is a magical place of spiritual peace, nurturing and  healing.  Here, with the help of healing vibrations present on the land, you can connect with your core essence.  The Center is located on 84 acres of pine country alive with eagles,  deer, elk and wild turkey.  It is surrounded by 12,000 acres of national forest land greatly adding to its serenity. 

     Verna V. Aridon Yater, Ph.D., co-founder of the Spiritual Sciences Institute and its Blue Mountain Center was led to the land by Spirit in 1978.
     "My heart started to pound as I entered the gateway leading to parcel # 7 (which was to become the Blue Mountain Center)." I didn't know what Spirit had in mind for the land but I bought it the same afternoon.  Two years later, on April 1st, Spirit first told me of the intended use of the land.
     The Center is a place designated by Spirit as a citadel of light, color and sound healing for the new millennium.  It is a place to expand the incredible realities beyond the five senses.
     Takawa, who once lived on the land while on the earth plane, now guards the Mountain from the Spirit Realm.  He shows incredible presence in direct ways, including playing his drum from Spirit side. 
     Extra-terrestrials guard the seven peaks of the mountain.
The Elohim, those from the highest levels of healing, create a "Sea of Compassion" on the mountain.  Spontaneous healings have occurred as a result of these energies. 
    A geodesic dome was built in the summer of l996 for our meeting space.  It features a wooden deck and a panoramic view of the surrounding area. 
     An outdoor labyrinth, intuitively created two years ago, is available for walking meditations, facilitating remembrances and symbolically representing our journey to the core of our being.
